Zeptide® is a prescription injectable medication containing tirzepatide, manufactured locally in Pakistan by Ferozsons Laboratories Limited/BF Biosciences. It is a pre-filled syringe formulation intended for weekly use and is positioned as a locally available alternative to similar branded tirzepatide products.

3. Dosage & Administration

⚠️ Important: Dosage must be prescribed and supervised by a qualified healthcare provider.

Typical Initiation & Titration (General Guidance)

1. Starting Dose:

   • 2.5 mg once weekly (helps initiate therapy; not intended for full glucose control).

2. Titration:

   • After 4 weeks, the dose may be increased to 5 mg once weekly.

   • If further glycemic control or weight loss is needed and tolerated, the dose may be increased by 2.5 mg every ≥4 weeks up to a maximum of 15 mg once weekly.

3. Missed Dose:

   • If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as possible within 4 days (96 hours) of the missed dose; otherwise, skip and resume the regular weekly schedule.

4. Administration:

   • Subcutaneous injection (under the skin) once per week.

   • Common injection sites: abdomen, thigh, or upper arm (rotate sites).

   • Follow storage and handling instructions (refrigeration, avoid freezing).
